Last Updated: August 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how ZStack Capital LLC (“cutGPT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the cutGPT mobile application, website (including cutgpt.app), and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What cutGPT is
cutGPT is a free AI chat app. If you are not on a paid subscription (if offered), we show third-party ads (including Google AdMob and/or Gravity) in the chat experience to help fund the product. Eligible users may receive a discretionary share of an ad-funded reward pool based on usage, paid via PayPal after a minimum balance, subject to our Platform Terms. We do not pay you to tap, click, or watch ads, and interacting with ads does not increase your share.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account data: identifiers from Sign in with Apple or Google (such as a provider ID and email, if provided), and your Firebase user ID on our systems.
- Chat content: messages and related conversation data you send so we can operate the AI product and (where applicable) improve contextual features.
- Payout data: if you opt in to payouts, a PayPal email and related earnings ledger fields (pending, payable, paid amounts, share rate).
- Device and app data: device type, OS, app version, IDFV, App Check / integrity tokens, crash and performance diagnostics, and analytics events.
- Ad and attribution data: ad impression events, estimated paid-event values from ad SDKs, SKAdNetwork signals, and consent / privacy preference status for ads.
- Usage data: screens viewed, feature usage, referrals / invite codes, and similar product-interaction data.
- Support communications: messages you send to [email protected].
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service and AI chat features
- Authenticate you and protect against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access (including App Check)
- Show ads that help fund the Service and measure ad performance
- Attribute ad-funded reward weights to your account on our servers and administer discretionary rewards / PayPal payouts
- Personalize or contextualize ads where permitted by law and your choices
- Analyze usage, fix bugs, and develop new features
- Communicate with you about the Service, security, and support
- Comply with law and enforce our Platform Terms
4. Ads, EU choices, and attribution
EU / UK / Switzerland ads. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we use Google’s User Messaging Platform so you can accept or reject personalized ads. Rejecting personalized ads does not remove ads; ads may still appear in a non-personalized form. You may be able to change this later in Settings → Manage Ad Privacy (where available).
AdMob attribution. After an ad is shown, Google’s SDK may report an estimated value for that impression on the device. We send that value to our servers with your signed-in account so we can allocate AdMob unit revenue fairly among users. We do not put your account id, email, or chat text into the AdMob ad request as targeting keywords.
Gravity attribution. When Gravity is the active ad network, we may pass your account id to Gravity’s publisher API (not as Google ad-request keywords) so revenue can be reported per user. Gravity may receive recent chat turns for contextual matching.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers. We do not claim that Google, PayPal, or any ad network pays you directly. Any user “cut” is a discretionary program operated by cutGPT as described in the Platform Terms.
5. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers / subprocessors who help us run the Service (for example hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, ads, payments facilitation, email). See our subprocessors list.
- Ad partners such as Google AdMob, Gravity, and related measurement partners, as needed to show and measure ads.
- Payment facilitators such as PayPal, when you request or receive a payout.
- Legal and safety disclosures when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the Service, administer rewards and disputes, comply with legal obligations, and resolve claims. We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. To request deletion of your account and related earnings records, or to exercise other privacy rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information as required by law or legitimate business needs (for example fraud prevention or completed payout records).
8. California notice
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct certain personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. Categories of data we may collect that align with App Store nutrition labels include Advertising Data, Product Interaction, and Identifiers. Chat content is used to operate the AI product; when AdMob is the active network, chat is not used as third-party advertising targeting keywords in the AdMob request. We do not “sell” personal information as that term is commonly understood for cash transactions; some ad / analytics disclosures may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law where applicable. To make a request, contact [email protected].
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process information in the U.S. and other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data-protection laws than your own.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] so we can delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
